Custom shirts for golf tournaments that players keep wearing

Most golf tournaments hand out a generic logo shirt that goes straight into a donation bin. Your players paid an entry fee, showed up early and spent a full day on the course. Give them something worth wearing again.

We're a Utah apparel brand, and everything we make starts with original art from muralists, painters and illustrators. We design custom tournament apparel with real artwork, so your event shirt feels more like a collectible than a giveaway. Charity scrambles, corporate outings, member-guest events, high school fundraisers and club championships all fit right in.

What to include in a tournament package

The best golf events think about apparel in layers. Here is how organizers usually build it out.

Player gift tees

The core of most packages. A tee with the tournament name, the year and the course or host organization makes a solid welcome gift at check-in. Put the main art on the back and a clean mark on the chest, and players will wear it at the range for seasons to come.

Volunteer and staff shirts

Volunteers need to be easy to spot on a big property. A bright color with "Volunteer" or "Event Staff" across the back helps players find help at registration, on the putting green and at the hole contests. It also makes your photos look organized.

Long sleeves and crewnecks for cool mornings

Early tee times in Utah can be chilly, especially in spring and fall. A long sleeve or a crewneck makes a premium player gift that gets worn on cold mornings for years.

Snapback hats

Hats are natural golf gear. Our snapbacks with patches give players something to wear on the course right away. Hats also work great as a sponsor-level gift or a prize for the winning team.

Art socks as prizes

Our art socks from the Signature, Everyday and Streetwear lines make fun tee prizes, closest-to-the-pin awards or goodie bag stuffers. They add personality to a gift table that might otherwise be all logo balls and tees. Check out our sock collection for designs.

Design ideas for golf events

Golf apparel does not have to be boring. Here are a few directions we like:

  • Course illustration. A hand-drawn view of a signature hole, a red rock backdrop or a mountain skyline turns a shirt into a piece of art.
  • Retro scorecard style. Vintage typography and badges give the event a classic country club feel.
  • Cause-forward art. For charity scrambles, put the cause front and center with artwork that tells the story.
  • Sponsor backs. List your hole sponsors on the back of the shirt as a thank-you that keeps showing up all season.
  • Funny phrases. Golf has endless jokes about mulligans, sand traps and lost balls. A playful line can make a shirt a favorite.

Design help is included. Send your logo, your sponsor list and a rough idea, and we'll build it out. You approve a digital proof before anything is printed.

How many shirts to order

Start with your field size. Count every player, then add volunteers, committee members and a few for sponsors and VIPs. Most scrambles run in foursomes, so your player count is usually easy to pin down once registration closes.

Our minimum is 24 pieces per design. Sizes and colors can be mixed within those 24, so you can cover a field with a wide range of sizes without overbuying. Volunteer shirts can be a separate design in a different color, which keeps the two groups easy to tell apart.

If late registrations are common for your event, add a small cushion of the most common adult sizes. A few extra shirts are better than a player going home empty-handed.

Pricing for tournament apparel

Custom tees start at $16 each. Your final price depends on the garment, the number of colors, the print locations and the quantity. A single-location print on a tee is the most affordable option. Adding a full sponsor list to the back, or choosing long sleeves or crewnecks, will raise the cost. Bigger orders get better per-piece pricing.

Many organizers roll apparel into the cost of registration or into a sponsor package. A presenting sponsor can cover the shirts in exchange for top billing on the back. That way your event budget stays focused on the cause.

Sizing tips for a golf field

  • Ask for shirt size on your registration form. It saves a lot of guesswork.
  • Golf fields often skew toward adult medium through XL, but always check your own list.
  • For mixed fields, ask about adding a fitted option alongside the regular fit.
  • Order a handful of extra larges and XXLs for walk-up players and sponsors.

Annual events and easy reorders

Most tournaments come back every year. We keep your designs on file, so next year's shirt can build on this year's look with a new date or a fresh color. Business clients can also get a private ordering page on graffitiwearclothing.com. Pick your sizes and colors, pay by card at checkout, and ship to the shop, your house or anywhere else. That works well for clubs and pro shops that want to restock event gear on their own schedule.

If you are buying apparel to resell, such as in a pro shop, send us a Utah TC-721 sales tax exemption certificate and we'll remove tax from your account.

Golf events across Utah

Utah is a great place to play. St. George and Washington County are known for desert courses with red rock views that draw players all year. Courses in Hurricane and Cedar City host plenty of community scrambles. Up north, clubs in Salt Lake City, Sandy, Draper, Park City, Ogden and Logan run charity events and corporate outings through the warm months.

We serve organizers all over Utah and ship anywhere in the US. We'll give you a timeline with your quote, so you can plan around your tournament date.
