Custom Merch for Hotels and Resorts in Utah by Graffiti Wear

Custom merch for hotels, resorts and vacation properties

Guests want to remember their stay. A great hotel or resort shirt does that better than a keychain or a pen. It goes home in the suitcase, gets worn around town and quietly reminds the guest and everyone they see that your property was worth the trip. Done right, it is a souvenir, a marketing piece and a revenue stream all in one.

Graffiti Wear grew out of Utah's art scene. Our designs come from real muralists, painters and illustrators. We help hotels, resorts, lodges, boutique inns, vacation rental companies and spa retreats create custom apparel with real artwork that matches the feel of their property.

Two sides of hotel apparel: guest merch and team wear

Most properties need apparel for two very different reasons. It helps to plan them separately.

Guest-facing merch

This is what you sell in your lobby shop or display near the front desk. It needs to look like something guests would buy anyway. Bold art, a strong sense of place and a quality feel matter more than a big logo. Popular pieces include:

  • Graphic tees with property art on the back and a small mark on the chest.
  • Hoodies and crewnecks for mountain lodges and cool desert evenings. These are often a strong seller at a higher price point.
  • Snapback hats with patches, a compact item that takes little shelf space.
  • Sweatpants for a cozy lounge set that pairs with a hoodie.
  • Art socks from our Signature, Everyday and Streetwear lines, a fun counter add-on. See the sock collection.

Team and staff apparel

Your front desk, valets, pool attendants, activity guides and housekeeping teams all represent your brand. Custom tees, long sleeves and hoodies give them a consistent look. For outdoor teams at a resort, think tees and tanks for summer and hoodies for cooler months.

Staff apparel can use a simpler design than guest merch. A clean logo with "Guest Services" or "Recreation" on the back makes it easy for guests to find help.

Design ideas for hospitality brands

Guests buy art that captures where they are. Some directions that work well:

  • Property illustration. A hand-drawn view of your building, pool or lodge entrance turns your property into the hero of the shirt.
  • Landscape art. Red rock cliffs, snowy peaks, desert sunsets and canyon walls tie your property to its setting.
  • Vintage travel poster style. Retro type and bold color blocks feel like a classic national park poster.
  • Room number or amenity themes. Fun graphics built around your pool, spa or signature amenity give regular guests an inside-joke feel.
  • Seasonal collections. A winter design and a summer design give returning guests something new to collect.

Design help is included. Share your brand guide, photos of the property and a few ideas. We'll build the artwork and send a digital proof for approval before printing.

How many pieces to order

Our minimum is 24 pieces per design, and you can mix sizes and colors within those 24. That keeps it easy to test a new guest design without filling a storage room.

For guest merch, start with a size run weighted toward adult medium, large and XL, and ask about youth sizes in your quote if you see a lot of families. For staff apparel, collect sizes from each department before ordering, then add a few extras for new hires and seasonal staff.

Many properties start with one guest design and one staff design, then expand once they see what sells.

Pricing for hotel and resort apparel

Custom tees start at $16 each. Your price depends on the garment, the number of colors, the print locations and the quantity. Bigger orders get better per-piece pricing, which matters when you are reselling in a lobby shop. Hoodies and crewnecks cost more to make, but they also sell at a higher retail price.

If you also want to carry our original art apparel or socks in your shop, take a look at our wholesale program.

Resale and sales tax in Utah

If you buy apparel to resell to guests, send us a Utah TC-721 sales tax exemption certificate and we'll remove tax from your account.

Restock on your schedule

Hospitality traffic swings with the seasons. A ski lodge can sell through hoodies in the middle of winter, and a desert resort can move tees fast during spring break crowds. Business clients can get their own private ordering page on our website. Log in, enter quantities by size and color, pay by card and ship anywhere. Your designs stay on file, so restocking best sellers is quick. Hotel groups with multiple properties can ship straight to each location.

Sizing tips for guests and staff

  • Guests on vacation often like a relaxed fit. Keep plenty of large and XL in stock.
  • Offer at least one fitted cut, such as a crop top or fitted tee, for younger guests.
  • Staff in active roles, like pool and recreation, often prefer tees and tanks over hoodies in summer.
  • Track sell-through by size and adjust each reorder.

Hotels and resorts across Utah

Utah draws visitors from all over the world. St. George, Washington and Hurricane sit at the doorstep of red rock country and national parks, and their resorts and vacation rentals host guests all year. Park City lodges serve skiers in winter and hikers and mountain bikers in summer. Hotels in Salt Lake City, Ogden, Provo and Logan welcome business travelers, sports fans and families. Cedar City inns host theater lovers and park visitors. Every one of these places has a story worth putting on a shirt.

We work with properties across Utah and ship anywhere in the US. We'll give you a timeline with your quote, so you can plan around your peak season.
